| Commento: Sicuramente una salita per avventurieri! La via supera in modo elegante placche e tetti che, dal basso, appaiono insuperabili con chiodatura tradizionale. I primi salitori hanno usato solo 5 spit ed 1 ch. a pressione proprio dove non vi era altra scelta; per il resto solo alcuni chiodi normali. Risultano pertanto indispensabili nuts e friends. Nei 400 metri di sviluppo sono concentrate le caratteristiche di molte pareti della Valle: roccia buona e friabile nello stesso tempo, erba, terra , lichene, strapiombi e grande esposizione. Soste buone tutte con 1 fix ed 1 chiodo, tranne le ultime tre su ch. normali ed alberi. Raccomandata solo ad amanti del genere e a chi abbia una certa esperienza in merito alle caratteristiche alpinistiche ed ambientali espresse. |
| Avvicinamento: si segue il sentierino che transita alla base della Mandrea ( attacco varie vie). Poco prima dell’attacco della via “Fiore di Corallo”scendere nel bosco (tracce) per circa 50 metri, dove è ben visibile la fessura/diedro di partenza (visibili alcuni vecchi chiodi). Circa 0,30 h. |
| Discesa: usciti dal bosco si attraversa un bel prato (proprietà privata) e si raggiunge la stradina sfaltata che sale a S.Giovanni. per questa , in discesa, si procede come per il rientro di tutte le altre vie della Mandrea. |
