COMMENTO: Via molto bella, non troppo difficile, ma immersa in un contesto stupendo di alta quaota! Segue una ben evidente serie di fessure e poi, nella parte superiore, alcune belle placche inclinate. La roccia è buona, a volte un po’ lichenosa. Importante attaccare quando la parete è asciutta, in quanto le placche sommitali diventerbbero assai impegnative da superare. Decisamente meritevole!
AVVICINAMENTO: Piuttosto lungo e difficoltoso, soprattutto sul ghiacciaio. Dall’Alveo Presena, seguire le morene in direzione di un grande spuntone, ben evidente, alla base del ghiacciaio. Raggiuntolo, si salgono le nevi verso dx, evitando così la grande crepacciata centrale. Poi si rientra verso sx su ghiaccio meno ripido, sino ai piedi della parete. Si attacca a dx di un netto spigolo, in corrispondenza di una placca convessa di rocce lisce e strapiombanti, presso rocce bianche e a dx di un contrafforte di circa 50 m. Circa 2,30 h.
DISCESA: Noi abbiamo percorso la cresta nord-est, a tratti affilata ed impegnativa, sino al punto più alto. Poi siamo scesi per l’evidente canalone innevato verso la Val cercen. Da qui, al rif. Denza. Circa 2,30 h.
